We have many people to thank for their insight and action in making this project happen, but this project would never have been possible without the sponsorship of B.E.A C.O.N Beach Erosion Authority for Clean Oceans and Nourishment - . - http://www.beacon.ca.gov/

Brian Brennan and Gerald Comati have been supporting the kelp project and us for over 10 years.  Once BEACON saw the possibilities of growing kelp in Goleta Bay, they have moved mountains by guiding the applications through the government approval process and paying for all the applications and permits.

Now that phase 1 has been installed, Bob and Greg are in frequent contact to monitor the performance of the granite columns.

Thank you BEACON
